wireless fence ok for buried utility wires?

I have been asked a couple of times if a wireless fence is ok for buried utility wires. Yes a wireless fence is ok for buried utility wires. There is no digging that needs to be done to install. There is also no interference with a wireless dog fence because the entire yard is covered by the signal field and the receiver will only activate when it leaves the signal field.

  1. Hey, do you know if you can interchange dog collar brands with different brand transmitters (i.e. a Dog Guard for an invisible Fence brand)? Our Dog Guard brand collar is broken and I am shopping for a new receiver. The Dog Guard runs on the 7K frequency (same as invisible fence). Will their receiver work?????

  2. A Invisible fence receiver (electronic collar) may work with a dog guard system if it is a older one. If the invisible fence reciver is for the 800 series it will not work. I have a used Dog Guard Receiver that is 7k I would be willing to get rid of. If any of your neighbors have a 7k Invisible fence I would ask them to see if the reciver will work on your fence system.
you can contact me at technetconnects@yahoo.com

  4. Hi...we had Invisible Fence brand installed recently. Our next door neighbor claims her small appliances, clock radio, etc. are now beeping every night between 3am-6am. We unplugged our transmitter to test for interference and she said some of the major beeping stopped but new beeping started. Invisible Fence came out and changed the transmitter box and installed "shields". Neighbor now complains of new smaler beeping noises. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
