If you find your Invisible Fence is beeping with a slow constant beep with a red light you have a bad battery back up. I found them very cheap at Amazon for about $15.
If your Invisible fence has the same beeping but has a flashing red light, this means it has no power. First check the outlet with a lamp or power drill, if you have power then you would need to replace your transformer. Again cheapest replacement I found was at Amazon for about $20.
If you have had this problem it mat be a smart idea to add a lightning protector, it also acts as a surge protector. It can be very dangerous if the invisible fence wire runs over or through tree roots. I have actually seen a invisible fence transmitter shatter into pieces from a direct lightning hit to a tree with the wire close to the roots of that tree. Many times when the wire is installed with the trencher it cuts into the roots and will put the wire over, under, and even inside the root.
